Project Overview

As the only kindergarten to secondary school for the blind in Ontario, the W. Ross Macdonald project is required to be secure, safe and accommodate the unique needs of the staff and student body. The Project required highly skilled and experienced professionals to construct a high quality, safe and accessible track and field facility.

Key Challenges

While its site is fenced off from the surrounding busy streets, these beautiful grounds are important to the Brantford community. The challenge of providing high quality work that maintains the safety and accessibility requirements was key. The scope of the project was greater than just the track surface and included landscape and field developers. Coordinating schedules and managing workflows with many trades and contractors is difficult but happens to be an area in which we excel.
